Cooking
The Yellow House offers the opportunity of hands-on experience in natural cooking and the possibility of creating traditional dishes together and menus based on knowledge of the energy characteristics of foods, and harmonisation of flavours, colours and nutritional value.
In our large kitchen, small groups can achieve a stimulating new relationship with food.
We harvest vegetables in season from the garden and develop the art of cooking together,
in the splendid setting of the surrounding hills and woods.

The key is energy in the seasonal growth of plants and in the way
to cook foods and combine them.

In Japanese, raku means enjoy the day, from Rikyu, a 16th century master of the tea ceremony.
The ceremony is linked to Zen philosophy and the influence
of Buddhism on Japanese culture.
In the firing of raku pottery,
the incandescent pots are removed from the kiln with long tongs,
dipped in water and left to cool in the air.
It is an outdoor ceremony of earth, water, air and fire.
